Obama’s Speech To Muslim World
Sunday, March 14th, 2010US president Barack Obama on 4th June, 2009 at the Cairo University, Egypt delivered his first speech to Muslim world; where he unveiled his vision and ideas of inter faith reconciliation. During his about an hour long speech particularly directed to international Muslim audience, he specifically outlined an agenda of inclusive partnership on global scale. He basically elaborated the ways and means to address various sources of tension that is prevailing in south East Asian region. Obama began his speech with customary Islamic greetings “Assalaamu Alaykum ”which created huge round of applause from the audience. He concluded his speech with the hope that the cycle of suspicion and discord shall end.
